Based on the logic of the Catálogo descriptivo del Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (Descriptive catalog of the National Museum of Fine Arts) , where each work of the collection is narrated through a precise description, this installation opens a series in which pictures of Juan Manuel Blanes are narrated through different covers of Nativist literature books. The elements of the image are replaced by titles that recall what is seen on the canvas. Words name and assume the place of objects.
