A catalogue raisonné (from French, ‘reasoned catalogue’) is a monographic book that gathers, comments and organizes the works of a museum. In “Coleçâo/Collection”, 215 serigraphs cover all the works reproduced with the “institutional” red color in the catalogue raisonné of the Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo. This monochrome intervention seeks to reflect on the symbolic mutation suffered by works by the mere fact of entering the collection of an institution or museum.
